Mechanical Pre-Filters
Gravity Bag Filters are used as mechanical pre-filters in centralized recirculation systems. They are designed to capture solid wastes entering the centralized sump
from the aquarium.
These high quality Polyester Gravity Filter Bags are available in 50, 100 or 200 µm, come in 16" and 32" lengths and feature either, polypropylene rings or draw-ties sewn into the cuff for easy use. The Bag Adaptors, which come in 1.5", 2", 3" or 4" sizes hold the bags securely in place.

Gravity Bag Filters effectively remove solid waste entering the centralized sump from the aquarium. To clean, simply remove, empty bag and rinse thoroughly. To ensure proper performance inspect bags for holes and other defects prior to reinstalling. Gravity Bag Filters are durable and reusable, if bag appears damaged do not reinstall, replace with new bag!
